Folsom Home Inventory for December 2017

Folsom continues to be in a seller’s market with only .7 months of inventory based on closed sales.  We have 31.1% fewer homes for sale than the same time last year.  Homes stayed on the market for an average of 45 days in December.

I expect home inventory to go down during the holidays.  But what I am seeing is lower inventory from the same time last year.  November 2016 to November 2017 we saw inventory go down 15.1%.  December 2016 to December 2017 inventory went down 31.1%  As of today there are only 51 homes for sale here in Folsom.  Only 11 are $500,000 or under.
