Folsom Home Prices Report for August 2020

Folsom’s home prices for July 2020 were up 9% from the same time last year. Folsom continues to have a strong real estate market. Median price for July was $562,000 down 2.4% from the same time last year. Homes continue to sell at 99% of list price. We continue to see buyers interested in the homes on the market. And these are serious buyers, because of the additional steps involved to see a home we are typically not seeing “looky-loos”. There are no (legally) open houses so buyers need to request a showing by asking a real estate agent to show them the home. Forms need to be completed prior to the showing (within 72 hours of showing, 1 for each home), most listing agents are requiring approval/prequal to be submitted in addition to the completed forms.
