In the past agents would relist a home to start the “Days On Market” counter over. Making a home that has been on the market awhile to appear new on market. Now our MLS counts both “Days On Market”(DOM) and “Cumulative Days On Market”(CDOM). There is little to gain from relisting a property these days, in my opinion.
The home at 764 Duncan Way was taken off the market at $539,000, then put back on the market with a new price of $524,900. They could have achieved the same thing by just reducing the price. In most instances it would show up on an agents hotsheet or a clients inbox with a new price and new interest.
