One of the best reasons for living in Folsom are all of the parks we have. One of mine and my children's favorite is the Folsom Kids Play Park. It is located at 201 Prewett Drive, in the Lexington Hills subdivision. There are multiple play structures, designed like castles. In fact a nickname of the park is the "castle park".
There are tire swings, rope ladders, lots of castle climbing. There is one castle that is a large sand play area. There are also four infant swings. The park also offers a covered picnic area. The one drawback (parents of younger ones will understand) is that there are no bathrooms at this park. There is one port-a-potty. The solution when nature calls is to walk down to Philip C. Cohn Park just down the street at 100 Prewett Drive. There are bathrooms there.
